Built
by Chongqing Shipyard and launched in November 1994, Star Dipper was
among the first 4-star deluxe cruise ships sailing on Yangtze River.
The four-deck vessel is 87.2 meters long and 16 meter wide, with a
draft of 2.8 meter. She sails at a maximum speed 30 km/h in still
water. After furbished in 1996, she is said to be quipped with most
up-to-date facilities and perfect safety devices. Accommodated with
2 presidential suites of 39 square meters each, 7 deluxe double cabins
of 21 square meters and 78 standard cabins of 18 square meters. Each
one of the cabins is supplied with central air-conditioning, closed
circuit TV, telephone, stereo broadcasting, satellite receiving device,
a restroom with bathtub.

hotel, along with a voyage you will never forget. Facilities on board
include a cafeteria, a small performance theater, a ballroom, a bar,
KTV rooms, a casino, a swimming pool, a banquet hall and a business
center. Also open to you are beauty salon, sauna and massage, sunbathe,
gym, gift shop and clinic. They also provide services such as laundry,
money exchange, copying and faxing, postal and international telecommunications.
The crew aboard were well trained and they have mottoes like "guests
supreme, reputation first" bearing in mind. Not only suited for
personal or family tours, the Star Dipper is also a good choice for
small or medium sized international conferences or even certain kinds
of competitions or games. The ship will be sailing between Shashi
