launched in 1992 M. V. Yangtze Paradise (President IV) was rated
as the No. 1 ship on the Yangtze for facilities and service, the
M. V. Yangtze Paradise, boasts 34 standard cabins with balconies,
25 standard cabins, 6 single cabins and 2 suites, for a total capacity
of 132 passengers.
The Yangtze Paradise weighs 3, 000 tons and is 86.6 meters (285.8
feet) long, 16.4 meters (54.1 feet) wide, with five decks, sailing
through the magnificent Three Gorges of Yangtze between Chongqing
and Wuhan from March to December.
The Yangtze Paradise features a renowned restaurant serving both
Chinese and Western cuisine, disco/ballroom, Karaoke bar, miniature
golf course, swimming pool, sun deck, sauna, indoor panoramic observation
tower, and spacious rooms with central air-conditioning, fire alarm,
shower and bathrooms, telephones, stereo and closed circuit TV.
A recreational center includes cafe, fitness center, billiard room,
conferences and banquet rooms. The ships satellite TV, satellite
telephone and fax keep you in touch with your family and friends
at home.
The crew are selected from the local companies, schools and hotels,
and most speak fluent English. Most of the clientele are from
America or Europe. |
