Among
all the cruise ships sailing on Yangtze River, M. V. Queen was a newly
constructed one. She is modest in shape, yet she has quite a specialty
after absorbed many merits of earlier built cruise ships. Designed
specially for cruising through narrow Yangtze gorges, she appears
as a 4 star floating hotel with a grand style. The six-deck vessel
is 87 meters long and 16 meters wide and is sailing 28 km per hour
in still water.
Accommodations include 1 presidential suites, 4 deluxe suites and
80 standard cabins, which means a total capacity of 168 guests. Besides
elegant and luxurious decorations on board, the ship is equipped with
advanced navigating system, IDD telephone, satellite telecommunication,
closed circuit TV system, central air-conditioning, indoor public
sight-viewing areas, as well as business center, gym, bar, karaoke,
ballroom, sauna, beauty salon, and so on. One thing the management
team is proud of is its swim pool with Spa and Jacuzzi on sundeck,
which few other cruise ships on Yangtze River possess.
There are 125 staff members on the cruiser, among them are well trained
waiters and waitresses, veteran chefs, high-level foreign language
guides. Quite a few short shore excursion and aboard programs are
arranged for you. All the crewmembers were asked to have "passengers
are our emperors, to meet what they demand is our sole aim" in
their minds. They are boasting that taking their ship for a Three
Gorge tour would be your only best choice. |
