THROUGH THE JIANGHAN PLAIN
After Breakfast, meet our managers and enjoy a River Briefing
and lecture about Chinese Traditional Medicine. Also have
an introduction to Chinese kites & fresh water pearls
in the afternoon. Enjoy our Captain's Welcome Party before
dinner. All guests will also have a night reserved to see
our crew Follies show. |

ENTER
THE THREE GORGES PASSAGE
In the morning we pass throught the Gezhouba ship lock and
enter the Xiling Gorge. Then disembark at Sandouping for a
tour of the dam construction site. Return to the ship and
finish the Xiling Gorge. Guides will give commentary on deck.
Pending navigation conditions, cruise Wu Gorge this afternoon
or tomorrow morning. |

THREE GORGES PASSAGE
Disembark at Wushan for a motor launch excursion into the
"Little Gorges" of the Daning River. Return to the
ship and sail through Qutang Gorge, last of the big three.

CRUISE
THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS OF EASTERN SICHUAN
Disembark for a morning tour of Wanxian City, return to the
ship and continue sailing through the beautiful landscape
of Sichuan. Join cultural programs this afternoon and Farewell
Follies tonight. Passengers are invited to perform song or
dance or musical instrument numbers. Contact Cruise Staff
to sign up. |

THREE
GORGES PASSAGE BEGINS
Begin the passage with Qutang Gorge, shortest & most dramatic
of the three. Pass poetic Wu Gorge before anchoring for excursion
on Shennong Stream. After "Little Gorges" trip on
"pea-pod" boats, return to ship and sail into the
Western Xiling Gorge. Enjoy a Three Gorges Project briefing
& video tonight. |

SANDOUPING
- THREE GORGES PROJECT AND LAST GORGE
Take a morning tour of the Three Gorges Project. Afterwards,
we sail the Eastern Xiling and exit the gorges at Yichang
City, where we pass through the ship lock of Ghezouba Dam.
Sail on towards the JiangHan plains. Learn Majiang this afternoon
and enjoy programs for resident artisans. Farewall Follies
and videos tonight. |
