Being
one of the deluxe cruise ships on Yangtze River, Princess Sissi was
first put into service in 1994. It was totally renovated in 2001 in
accordance with international 4-star standard. With a length of 70
meters and a width of 13.2 meters, this double layer basing structured
vessel has a draft of 2.4 meters and a total tonnage of 2220. In 2009,
she will be sailing between Maoping and Chongqing before July and
between Yichang and Chongqing after.
Streamlined in shape and designed in European style, the ship has
all of its public areas and passenger cabins well appointed and elegantly
decorated. There are 2 deluxe suites with a cabin area around 30 square
meters each, and 48 standard cabins with an area 15.5 square meters
each. The total passenger capacity is 100. The ship’s facilities
are for most convenience and comforts of guests: sauna and massage,
gym, beauty salon, night club, sunbathe, gift shop, ballroom, business
center, satellite communication systems, circuit TV and a lot more.
Up to now, it was the first and may still be the only Yangtze Cruise
ship on which passengers have access to internet aboard. Chefs on
board are famed to make Hubei local favors, some of which once were
served to imperial court in Qing Dynasty. Also other Chinese and Western
food will be provided everyday without much repeating during your
3 or 4 day journey. Besides, some joyful and educational activities
and performance aboard are also scheduled to make your cruise trip
